A new take on your standard Houndstooth!

Here we have my very first pattern design!!! And it has now officially been published! This one makes me super excited, it has been in the works now for almost a year. My favorite pattern company is called Cozy Quilt Designs out of El Cajon, CA, where I used to live. I came across Daniela Stout’s amazing shop in early 2020, and have never turned back. Her shop is amazing, and I miss it so much. She is famous for her “strip club” patterns, which all use 2.5 inch strips as a main component of the pattern and design. One day I saw something that was made with a houndstooth fabric, and I had this idea that maybe I could use Daniela’s famous Strip Tube Ruler to turn that design into a quilt pattern, so that is exactly what I did! I proposed the design to her and she fell in love and wanted to add it to her huge collection of pattern designs (she has been doing strip club for about 20 years now!!), and so, the Strip Tube Houndstooth quilt was born!
