These quilts are a group that I found at an antique store in Richmond, VA. The back story that I got was that an elderly woman passed away and her children either couldn’t or did not want to have them finished, so they were selling all of her unfinished quilts. There were 9 or them in total, all in different stages of being finished, so I decided to “rescue” them and make sure that the hard work the woman had already done on them would not go to waste.
